Forest Bathing Walks are the antidote to high-stress, fast-paced modern lives. Studies have shown that moving mindfully in nature has significant health benefits for your mind, body and spirit. This is an opportunity to end your week well on a Friday afternoon and unwind in time for the weekend.
Informed by the Japanese practice of "shinrin yoku" or “forest bathing”, this type of mindful walking is calming and soothing to the nervous system and can help boost your immune system.
During this walk you'll experience being guided through sensory awareness and immersion activities that simultaneously restore and awaken the body and mind. Nature opens the doors to the "calm alert" state prized by meditators, naturally. We'll start with some guided meditation and slow wandering, move through some sensory awareness expanding practices and end with a bush tea ceremony in the Pine Forest.
Price: $30 for 2hr session. Click below to register.
I look forward to walking with you!
