Forest Bathing (Nature Connection) Walk

  • WILD PLAY Discovery Centre Dickens Drive Centennial Park, NSW, 2021 Australia (map)

Forest Bathing Walks are the antidote to high-stress, fast-paced modern lives. Studies have shown that moving mindfully in nature has significant health benefits for your mind, body and spirit. Be guided by one of Australia’s first certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and experience the benefits of connecting with nature.

Informed by the Japanese practice of "shinrin yoku" or “forest bathing”, this type of mindful walking is calming and soothing to the nervous system and can help boost your immune system.

During this walk you'll be guided through sensory awareness and immersion activities that simultaneously restore and awaken the body and mind. Nature opens the doors to the "calm alert" state prized by meditators, naturally. We'll start with some guided meditation and slow wandering, move through some sensory awareness expanding practices and end with a bush tea ceremony in the Pine Forest.

Price: $30 for 2hr session.  Click below to register.

I look forward to walking with you!
